About SFHSN

HSN's successes have all come from the hard work and growing voice of its member agencies. Several local policymakers have repeated the belief that the nonprofit community is a "sleeping giant" in the public policy arena, and have advised greater organization. HSN seeks to ensure that nonprofits, facing a common set of challenges, are not alone.

Membership in HSN is open to all nonprofit organizations that provide health and/or human services to vulnerable San Franciscans. Membership dues are based on the size of the agency's budget:

Agency Budget:

Less than $250,000
Less than $1 million
Less than $2 million
Less than $5 million
$5 million or greater


Suggested Minimum HSN Dues:

$ 250
$ 500
$ 750
$1,000


If you represent a nonprofit interested in joining HSN, please complete and send in the membership form with your dues check.
